The Holocaust was a devasting event for all Jewish people and among decent minded people world wide. Jews who lost relatives in the death camps went through experiences that other people can only imagine about because of the cruelty of the Nazi Party during WW2 and in Germany prior to the war itself. There are few words in this limited forum to discuss what hundreds of books on this subject have covered on the holocaust. What immediately comes to mind is one salvation of sorts, which was the establishment of Israel in 1948.
