The Nile's floods provided people with mud bricks and also workers who would normally be farming (which they had to take a break from due to the flooding).

To the Egyptians this pleased sun god, Ra, so once the pyramid was done being built the pharaoh would " make a connection" with Ra. Once the pharaoh died he/she would be put to rest in that same pyramid for his/her life
Many people believe that the slaves were the ones who built the pyramids, but that is only part true. Many of the peasant farmers helped build pyramids. They helped for about 3-4 months each year (the season when the Nile floods).
