From a religious point of view, it changed the world because before they were invented, every Bible had to be hand written which took years. After the printing press was invented, Bibles could be copied quickly which allowed them to ship them all over the world.

the people who made books and stuff didnt have to write every book by hand, so the printing press made books alot easier to copy and faster.
