It didn't. They blew up the shark in the original Jaws. In Jaws: The Revenge, the shark is impaled upon the bow of the ship. At the bow of the ship, there was this long spike thing, and the shark jumped out of the water and was impaled upon it.

Jaws 2 was electrocuted at sea by Cheif Brody by fedding it the under water power line Jaws three was blown up by a grenade lodged in its mouth Jaws the revenge; after embedding a device in the sharks skin it was blown up with electromagnet pulse but I think the generator in the sharks mouth was stabbed, causing it to explode jaws 1 chief brody put a air tang in the shark mouth then shot it and the shark blew up

A few reasons I can think off the top of my head:Despite being named "The Revenge", there isn't much of a revenge involved. A grand total of one person dies. The rest; eh, it's just a scratch.Remember in the first (and it should've been the only) Jaws movie how real the shark looked? Yeah. Compare them.How does a shark explode when you hit it with the front of a boat?Special effects look awful

All I know is this.In Jaws The Revenge is that if you go on you tube and go on the Scene where the shark dies pause on the exploding bit and fingers crossed that you might see a toy shark(Also you can find it on wikipedia).
