How do Dachshunds play?

When in the right moods dachshunds can be very playful and enjoy playing with you. When they are tired though, especially with children they can growl and even bite if you approach them.

They enjoy play fighting, tug of war and finding socks, slippers or teddies to chew on!

They are adorable pets who are possessive of their owner. They are not the greatest with children as they are so possessive of their owners. The dachshund is a good listener and learner but can be very stubborn.

My dachshund loves playing with me by nibbling my fingers! He also enjoys tug of war, as dachshunds are strong. He loves finding teddy bears to chew on! They also LOVE running around and being chased, especially if there is water around! He sleeps and rests most of the time though!

They can be aggressive. But, I have seen some very nice. friendly, non-aggressive ones, too. I think it is training that makes the ultimate difference. But, if you looking for a dachshund, ask to see the parents, because genetics makes a difference, too. What it comes down to is this: You can train an aggressive dog to be less aggressive, but if it is not aggressive in the first place, you have it made.
