um grams are a measure of mass and liters are a measure of volume. without knowing the density of the substance being measured you cannot convert between the 2. a microgram of Mercury is going to have a much different value in microliters than a microgram of water.

First off, density = mass / volume. so mass is density / volume. assuming density is in g/ml, then this will give you an answer in milligrams. Now you need to divide by molecular weight to get the answer in millimoles.

One microliter is equal to 0.000001 liter, so simply multiply your number of microliters by 0.000001 to get liters. Alternatively, you could simply move the decimal place to the left six places.
