I just did this yesterday. The plastic defrost vent cover snaps out. Once removed, you'll see two screws securing the plastic piece that covers the radio, a/c, etc. controls. Once you remove the screws, this plastic piece also snaps out. You can now see two bolts holding in the radio. But on mine, there is also a bracket bolted into the back of the radio (the ground wire is attached to the same bolt). It's a little tight but you can get a wrench on the bolt (mine is 3/8"). Once this is removed, the only thing holding in the radio is the wiring. It's easier if you remove the glove box before any of this. That's the way you can reach behind the radio. This is also where the radio antennae connection is made.
