Browning.com has a sn look up function. Your best bet though is to call Browning.
Your best bet is to contact Browning directly.
The Blue Book of Gun Values is the best reference to reflect the value of a gun. The price of a gun is not reflected because sales include profits. A Browning Shotgun with the serial number 0450 would need to be appraised to give an estimated value or sale price.
Made in the early 1900's. Value hard to estimate given lack of description. Best guess 100-500
The best places online I have found to see the current market price of firearms are gunsamerica.com auctionarms.com gunbroker.com hope this is helpful Its not a Sweet Sixteen unless there is an S in the serial number.
Your best bet is to call Browning.
The serial number comes up a Browning Auto-5 semiauto shotgun. Browning began manufacturing the Auto-5 in 1902. All serial numbers below around 228,000 are pre-WW2 manufacture, and only Browning can provide at best a guess on the age of the gun.
Repairing a Browning!Need a serial# Otherwise it is best to send the gun directly to Browning in Mo and they can completely rebuild, clean, repair, tune ect...go to browning.com click "services" and they can answer all your questions. ****Take Note**** The browning should not be disassembled by anyone other than a "Browning authorized gunsmith" I hope this was helpfull!
Browning did not break down the serial numbers of the hi-power from 1945-1954.At the end of 1954 they had made 72,250 guns and then started to register there serial numbers with production in 1955.Your browning high-power falls into the production of guns from 1945-1954,I am sorry but that is the best that I can do.
Serial number dates it as a 1983, Auto 5, 12 gauge magnum. FYI serial numbers start at 01001 at the start of each year. Without more information the best estimate on value I can give is 300-600
It depends on the model and condition. The best way to get a value is to check with a dealer.
Best suggestion is to call Browning and get a letter. They cost @$40 USD
