In the trunk of the car, where the antenna is on the outside, there are pretty flimsy panels that line the trunk. Pry the circular clips out with a flat head screwdriver but be careful not to break them because the more you lose, the looser those panels are when you put it all back together. There will be a box that houses the antenna behind the obvious panel in your trunk, where the antenna is on the outside. There are a few bolts that secure the box to the car, and the antenna unscrews from the outside (even in the down position) so you can remove the box from the inside. There is a circular dome shaped piece of plastic that the antenna sits in on the outside of the car when it is retracted and it will unscrew with a little finesse. The wires to the antenna are connected with a harness, just like most other wiring in these cars, so use a flat-head screwdriver to disconnect the harness. You will need to disconnect both the power to the antenna and the line from the antenna to the stereo. It may take some maneuvering, I don't think it just slides out but it is replaceable. Assembly is the same as taking it apart, but if you need more help, I always refer back to a manual (sold in car part stores for $15-20).
