∙ 11y agoThe sun's ultra violet rays have powerful bleaching powers which is great for white garments but not for colored ones. There is no way to restore the color except to dye the garment. If it is a natural fiber - like wool - it should take dye readily. To help achieve an even coloring, you should first use a color remover on the garment. Then choose a dye shade that is darker than the original color. Follow the package directions carefully and you should have success. You will need to launder the newly dyed garment separately from other clothing for the life of the garment. Good luck!
