How do delete a music file from an Iphone?

Delete a single song on iPhone:

1. Open the Music app.
2. Click on the Songs tab (or click on the "Album" or "Artists"), a list of your songs will appear. Find the song you want to delete.
3. Swipe from right to left on the song to reveal the "Delete" button. Tap the button to remove the song.

You can use two methods to delete your music:using iTunes and within your iphone itself

At first i thought we need to use itunes to delete a song but i realised that we can do it within an iphone.

You'll just have to touch and hold the title of the song (you'll have to move it a little) and when you are at the right position there'll be a delete button which is red and will appear beside the title of the song click and then you're done...

You can't because the app already comes with the phone. Plus even if you delete it it won't be there for the next person if you return it.
