Home Depot had this stuff for 20-30 bucks to spray around the house that is suppose to work for 6 months. I sprayed it inside the the house at the wall to floor area plus under the floors at the foundation to floor area. I had no problems for a year. I think I miss the company. I did see one roach this week with his feet up in the air in my bathroom.
Baking soda, distilled white vinegar, and liquid dish detergent are organic ways to kill waterbugs. The insects in question cannot survive if counters and floors are clean, drinks and food get containerized, moisture is monitored, and repairs remove access-points through cracks and fissures and attractions to leaky faucets. More chemical approaches involve Borax, poison-baited traps, and professional exterminators.
There are two products at Lowes and home Depot that work very well and the price beats all previous costs. I think one is called home defense. It works well for six months or more. Spray your outside foundation walls also AND PREVENT ALL KINDS OF CRITTERS.
