pull the wheel off make sure you only do one wheel at a time so that if you forget the order it came apart you can always go to the other side and look at it to make sure it is right. if you really have no mechanicl experience you probably should not even bother because money is nothing when it comes to the safety of others and yourself on the road any way you need to loosen the bolts that hold the caliper to the spindle they are usually a hex bolt or they may be regular bolts. loosen and remove the caliper, should come straight up with a little tap from the hammer. check your rotor for wear ,if there is big scores and lots of wear you may need new ones or they may need to be machined by your local parts store , they probably need to be if your barkes have not been changed in a long time because the pads wear down and ruin the rotor. once you have established if the rotors are good or not you may need to compress the piston in your caliper so that the new pads will fit over top of the rotor because they are thicker when they are brand new. use the old pad and a c-clamp to compress the piston install the pads and place over top of the rotor install the bolts to factory specs and your pretty much done. if your stumped just take a good look at everything and examine how it works. if you look at something long enough you will figure it out. look at the bolts were they go and why they are there. if you are having the much problems and can;t figure it out then should at least get a repair manual to guide you through it better which i think you need if you are asking a question like this. not all brakes are the same and remember they stop your car and that is the most important part of your vehicle
