To change the A/C dryer in an Oldsmobile Achieva, first ensure the A/C system is fully discharged to avoid refrigerant exposure. Disconnect the battery, then locate the A/C dryer, typically mounted near the condenser. Remove the mounting bolts and disconnect the refrigerant lines, taking care to replace any O-rings to prevent leaks. Install the new dryer, reconnect the refrigerant lines, and recharge the A/C system with refrigerant.

Find the s10's ac drier. On the side of the drier there is a port. This is the low pressure ac port.
Yes it does. I only know this because we took our 2001 Santa Fe in for AC work this week since the compressor went bad and they said that if you change the compressor you need to change the receiver drier as well. That's about the extent of my car knowledge though :)
can you bypass a 2001 oldsmobile aurora ac compressor?
It's probably the sensor on the compressor. It's best to change the whole compressor and drier.
I had trouble with my AC Compressor there is a pulley called an AC bypass pulley for the make of your car... just ask your Automotive Parts dealers they should help you.. I had to phone a few before I found one that knew what I was talking about. Also on eBay you can look it up.
