Spray the Goof Off or Goo Gone on the sticky stuff, wait a few minutes, then it will scrape right off with a metal spatula.

This stuff also works for removing even the toughest stickers, old velcro adhesives, latex paint, etc.

Be careful to have good ventilation and use gloves while using it. Keep kids and pets away. This stuff is toxic and a little goes a long way.
