i should be awarded this scholarship because i am very good in school and a well rounded person who works to her best ability. i always give everything my all. i am determined to pursue further post-secondary education and suceed my goal successfull.
Its almost the 14 of July and I have realized after looking at my rank that the possibility if me even coming close to winning the scholarship is slim to one. The reason why I am posting this froum is because I need to know that someone in this place has it bad and I wanna hear about someone who has a hard life so much so that me not getting this scholarship wont feel sad. Well I guess before you guyz write me I have to tell you my story:
Im 17 and I live a very horrible life. But i guess its the life I have. My mom is schizophrenic... my dad cheated on my mom in our house rite next to my room... and soon after he left. My sister has tried to kill herself 3 times... 2 of the times she did it rite in front of me.She's bipolar so she kind of gets careless sometimes. My brother went to jail a couple years back and now he's 26 and lives at home contributing nothing to our insane family. I have a sister who is actually good but we have little contact with her... since she's always busy. My life is a day to day misery. I have to hear my mom screaming everyday. when i want to sleep or when i want to study or read she's screaming. I have to live everyday just wondering if today will be the day my sister dies?
My life sucks. but 2 things keep me going one thing is the idea of going to COlumbia Universit. I have always wanted to go and now it doesnt seem realistic but that's okay I guess... its not really okay... ill probably be insane pretty soon! and also the thought that other people have it worse than me and they keep on living and fighting... for this reason i keep on fighting. That is why I need someone to tell me why they deserve this scholarship... not necessarily more than me(cuz u cant really judge that)but I jus need a little bit of closure.
U may think I'm wierd spilling everything out to everyone but no one knows who I am so it doesnt really matter. My friends don't even know(embarrassing) SO someone please just tell me.... thanx
When asked why you think you would be a worthy recipient of a scholarship, it is important to highlight academic successes. Grade point averages, high test scores, and participation in athletics can all be mentioned in response.
If you are seeking and English based scholarship and this "Why are you deserve this scholarship" is your standard of grammatically correct English, then you have no hope of getting the scholarship.
Talk about financial problems, don't want to be burdened with loans when you graduate, will make the most of the scholarship, want to further your education, etc....
Nobody really deserves anything when you really think about it.
I won't say I'm the best candidate for the scholarship. I do believe I can make a difference through my own personal natural traits.
Tell them how much this scholarship means to you and how effectively you will put it to use.

Minority scholarships are financial aid opportunities specifically designed for students who belong to underrepresented or marginalized groups based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation. These scholarships aim to support diversity in education and provide opportunities for students who may face additional barriers to accessing higher education.
It is easier for a Filipino who has been awarded with a full scholarship to get to Germany. It is equally easier for one who has been granted employment in Germany.
A needs-based scholarship is one that is awarded to students based on their household income. If they are from a low-income family, they are likely to get a needs-based scholarship to help pay for college tuition.

A person should get a scholarship for many reasons. They may deserve the scholarship because of educational accomplishments or because of financial reasons.
