When geckos are being chased and a predator catches it tail and tries to catch it that way the predator will pull off the tail and the gecko will get before the predator notices and later the geckos grow their tails back

some lizards can disconect their tails, and the horned lizard can squirt blood from its eye shocking the predator to let go while the lizard escapes
