Neurons communicate by either chemical or electrical synapses. By far the predominant method is chemical though. The neuron releases a neurotransmitter like acetyl choline, glutamate, glycine and others to which the postsynaptic neuron or cell responds to.
Synapses are the contact points where one neuron communicates with another. The dendrites are covered with synapses formed by the ends of axons from other neurons. Neurons are cells within the nervous system that transmit information to other nerve cells, muscle, or gland cells.
via the neurotransmitters
Neurons communicate primarily in two ways: (1) electrical communication and (2) chemical communication. Neurons communicate electrically using gap junctions between neurons where electrical impulses are sent directly from one neuron to another. This is method is used for local communication as the electrical signal degrades over larger distances. Neurons communicate chemically using chemicals called neurotransmitters which are ejected from one neuron into a space between neurons (called the synapse) and are then absorbed or taken up by other neighboring neurons.
synapse is that junction through which impulse can be transmitted from one neuron to another.

muscles and glands.
Neurons are nerve cells. Neurons in the brain are involved in thinking and perceiving and consciousness and control of the body, and neurons elsewhere in the body communicate with the brain.
Neurotransmitter are means by which neurons communicate with one another. There are more than 30 compounds known to be neurotransmitters, and dozens of others are thought to be so.

It would be the way that the nervous system works or the way that neurons communicate with one another.
An interneuron is also called an association neuron. Its job is to communicate with other neurons.
They allow neurons to communicate with each other
Neurons are the cells that carry signals from one neuron to another neuron, a muscle, or a gland.
Synapses are connections between neurons through which "information" flows from one neuron to another.
