It is a plant (hemp), it grows. Hemp has many uses. There are ways to get hemp seeds to plant.
When I was a kid hemp rope was still used and you could find the plants anywhere there were railroad tracks because seed accidentally in rope shipments would fall off the train and grow.
However different breeds of hemp have different levels of THCs and other cannabinoids.
