There are many ways to reduce friction. The first way is to use Amsoil Signature Series or Royal Purple for the engine oil. Use the thinnest oil recommended in the owners manual. For example if it calls for 5W30 or 10W30 use 5W30. Another way is to use the thinnest fluids in the drive train. For example if the rear differential calls for 75W85 or 75W90 use the 75W85. If the automatic transmission calls for Dexron 2 use the newer Dexron 6 which is thinner than Dexron 2. Change all of the fluids on time. Skip the fluid additives. Some fluid additives do reduce friction but have negative side effects such as causing sludge, swelling seals or rusting metal. Nearly all fluid additives contain harmful chemicals such as ground up Teflon, chlorine, acidic chemicals and solid particles. If those were really effective the fluid would already contain them from the factory. Some cars have grease fittings. If your car does adding grease to them is extremely important. I hope this helps.
