How do reptiles hear?

Yes I have had multiple lizards that talk.(Amphibious Mixamatosers). They sound exactly like people just talk to them for a while as in a few weeks and they will definitely cummunicate back either that or you are going insane.

Reptiles do not have external ears like mammals, but they have internal ears that can detect vibrations and sound waves. These vibrations are transmitted through their skull and jawbones to their inner ear, allowing them to sense sound to some degree. Some reptiles, like snakes, can also detect vibrations through the ground using their lower jaw.

I cant speak for all lizards, but all of the ones i have kept generally only hiss similar to a cat or snake when they are upset.
