Best Answer

Rocks are formed by the constant change in the environment. The pressure of particles along with the temperature and liquid present enable the rocks to be formed. Different pressures along with environmental changes can cause rocks to shift and change throughout time.

Rocks are changed through three main factors.

  • Chemical- Chemical changed rocks are manipulated my acids or other formulas e.g Limestone caves formed by acid rain.
  • Physical- physical changes are made by humans, animals or gravity changing the rock.
  • Environmental- environmental changes are things like ice forming in the cracks and splitting it open or tree roots splitting it open. and also the expanding or contracting of the rock in heat and cold.
Rocks are formed by the cooling of magma or the combination or collection of rocks binding together.
