Skeletal muscles have an antagonistic relationship. To move about a joint one muscle contracts while its opposite muscle relaxes. For example, movement of the forearm is done through the bicep and tricep along the elbow joint.

"Skeletal muscles enable the skeleton to move. they are attached to ligaments which are attached to the bone meaning when you e.g. walk the muscle contracts; pullng the ligaments and moving your bones. they slao hold your bones together, along with ligaments." Bones give your body a structure. The Muscles give you the ability to move and lift. the ligaments and tendons attach both together and allow you to perform a whole slew of movement that neither the skeleton nor the muscles could do alone.

Most muscles are attached to bones which provide the framework for the human body. When muscles contract (shorten), they pull the skeleton in the direction they shorten. You can often see them bulge when they do so.

How do the skeletal and muscular systems work together to move your body?

Muscles are attached to bones by tendons. The muscles contract to allow movement, while the skeleton gives the muscles support. The muscles and bones move together, basically with the muscles contracting and the bones allowing them to stay up. Something like that.

Muscles and bones together enable the body to?

The bones adequately support the muscles, and the muscles move the skeletal system. They coincide with each other in order to work. one system could not work without the other.

All skeletal muscles will have a flexor and an extensor. The flexor bends the joint. The extensor straightens it out again.
