For example, without the Sun (nonliving) plants(living) couldnt't grow which in turn most consumers would die, then the things that eat the consumers would die, and so on.

And without water (nonliving) nothing at all would survive. I even be here telling you this without water.

Living things need non living things in order to survive. Without non-living things living things cannot survive. Example what is there is no soil or air or earth to support living things. Living things depend on non-living things in order to survive. You can't have the one without the other.

whitouth none living things living things would not have shelter, tools to work with or anything for that matter. For example the planet itself is made up of none lving material so there for if there where no none living things all living things would not exist.
