They exchange gases with the environment by pumping them through a complex system of tubes called tracheae. (Modern Biology Book)
Dragonflies breathe through a complicated structure of tubes (called tracheae and tracheoles) and air sacs. Oxygen is pulled into the body through openings in their abdomens called spiracles. Once the oxygen has been pulled in, the outer most vents close and the air is forced into increasingly smaller pipes known as tubules, until it reaches the required cells.

All butterflies breath through the admen. (The last body fragment of the butterfly)
They have eight pairs of openings along the side of their body - called spiracles - through which air passes into and out of their body.

Ummmmm, NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and if it is a school puzzle.. A dragonfly
Years ago an explorer named Thomas Yohan discovered the dragonfly! He picked one up and as he did so he squesssed it! when he did this he noticed the dragonfly breath a flame! so that's were it got the name!
In Spyro enter the dragonfly the ice breath rune is the last rune you get to. It is found on Cloud 9. (to get to Cloud 9 you need to collect enough dragonflies to activate the swirly behind the sleepy bear at the entry level)
A frog's metamorphosis is from a tadpole to a froglet, and a butterfly is from a caterpillar to, well, a butterfly.
Well it starts as a nymph , like a caterpillar cant fly but live in pond/water, then into dragonfly then back into nymph to lay eggs, i dunno how long live... maybe 3 years? no idea really could be 3 months for all i know
on each side of the caterpillar's segment, there is an oval opening called the spiracle. This leads in to a branching tube, the trachea, that delivers air to all of the segments. The caterpillar does not actually breathe, but the compression and extension of each segment as the caterpillar moves causes the air to go in and out of the spiracles,so that oxygen can be taken in,and carbon dioxide given out.
For the very first dragon, you can't get the kite until later. You will need to return to the dragonfly dogo when you have ice breath. You then freeze the dragon and jump on-top of the frozen dragon to reach the kite.
what do u think pfft...some peeple....not smart.....y do they call a dragonfly a DRAGONfly...it hhas no massive amount of teeth, it doesnt breath fire, doesnt have scales and isn't big...jeesh some peeple have a big imagination
Metamorphosis refers to the 'change of body design' and is most commonly seen in the insects. caterpillar to butterfly inchworm to moth mosquito larva to adult dragonfly nymph to adult
why is a dragonfly not a fly
A Caterpillar is a worm like larva of a butterfly and a nymph is a immature form insect that does not change greatly as it grows e.g. a dragonfly, mayfly or locust. Compared to Larva.
Both the butterfly and the dragonfly are insects, but the dragonfly is larger.
