In the fifth grade, we did an experiment in class to see what kind of seed dried out first from a multitude of different types of produce. We used many things, like cucumbers and apples. But, the experiment was to see which FRUIT seed dried out first. Therefore, I asked the teacher what the difference between a vegetable and a fruit was. She had said that anything with seeds is technically considered a fruit.
Fruits have seeds and most of them grow on trees. Vegetables do not have seeds and usually grow on bushes or small plants.
If there are seeds on the inside tomatoes, cukes and eggplant are fruits.
you can tell if something is a fruit or a vegetable by if it has seeds or not so the difference is that fruit has seeds and vegetables don't even though lots of fruits like cucumber is known as a vegetable it is actually a fruit.
i don't know it might be a fruit or a vegetable
Some have seeds and some don't so would it be counted as both
A cucumber is botanically a fruit, but usually is regarded as a "culinary vegetable". (Tomatoes are another example of something that's technically a fruit, botanically speaking, but is used as a vegetable in cooking.)
