I HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM..SOME TIMES U CAN HIT THE MOTOR WHILE U TRY TO HIT THE BUTTON TO MAKE IT ROLL UP AND SOME TIMES U HAVE TO WAIT AND JUST HIT THE BUTTON AND ONE LUCKY DAY IT WILL ROLL UP OR U CAN GET A NEW WINDOW MOTOR

I have a 94 s10 blazer. My drivers window gets stuck sometimes in the heat. It simply stops, and i have to wait for a few minutes to put it up. If this isn't the case, there is no real method for unsticking a window without having to open up the door panels and id the problem. You may have a faulty switch also. The drivers window is stuck half way. The rest of the windows work fine. Is it a fuse problem?
More likely it is a window regulator, or maybe a guide bearing. Both are cheap parts that are expensive to have replaced.

There is an electric motor that drives a geared pulley which is attached to a sliding bracket attached to the window. Most of the time the cable jumps off due to dry or binding window/channel. There are rubber spacers in the gear attached to the motor that deteriate in the heat and crumble. You can buy a new gear kit and replace it.
