The safest way is to go to a clinic and have the procedure performed by a professional. However, that is serious decision. Prior to making that decision, please consider all of the short and long term consequences for your decision. There's much more to an abortion than just the termination aspect. There are mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical pains that you will experience. Additionally, the pains can sometimes be long term and permanent. I am not suggesting that you don't, however, I am suggesting that you consider all the consequences, and ask yourself, if you are strong enough to deal with and handle the long term realities of abortion--especially the facts that are not shared with a lot of women. Please research thoroughly, consider all of your options, and then make your decision. There are a lot more terrible things out there than being pregnant--children bring so much joy in this world. They are innocent, happy, and peaceful--and we experience all of this once we see them. Ask me how do I know. The fetus I considered aborting is now 27 years old and she is the best thing that could have ever happened to me. When the doctors diagnosed me with a terminal disease, it was her support, love and care that helped to to heal and I am still alive to share this with you today. Whatever decision you make, I will pray for you and always know, no matter what you do, GOD STILL LOVES YOU. Whatever decision you make, accept the consequences and continue on with your life. Do not get stuck--but get star struck and move into your destiny. GOD HAS A PERFECT DESTINY FOR YOU. You are sooo very Precious
Yes. The youngest fetus saved was 21 weeks, 6 days.

The first trimester, the earlier the better. By 21 weeks are the risks for complications the same as for childbirth. As long as you have it done by a professional none of the methods are harmful to the woman.
21 st week
21 weeks gestation is too premature to be considered viable. 24 weeks is the earliest a fetus is considered viable. Your Ob/Gyn will most likely keep you on bedrest and monitor you closely until at least 24 weeks. You will probably also be given antibiotics and possibly steroids to help your baby's lungs mature. Your baby is at risk of bad things happening to it.
21 days is 3 weeks.
if you are 21 weeks pregnant when was conception?
At 11 weeks unless you are probably unable to hear the heart beat of a fetus with a standard stethoscope. You should be able to pick it up on the Ultra Sound Equipment in your Doctor's Office. Your doctor should also have other equipment that can also pick it up. Most people do not have that equipment in their homes. Your fetus should have had a beating heart for nearly six weeks now. When it started beating, only super sensitive amplifiers could pick it up. Not even ultrasound could get it. Now it is coming into the range where ultrasound can find it. You will need to see your doctor to check the ultrasound or if your doctor told you the fetus does not have a heart beat ask what to do. At about 21 weeks you should be able to hear the heart beat with a regular stethoscope.
One week is 7 days, so 21 weeks is 147 days.
