Anytime you wish to create any type of remark in a batch file rem must be added in front of the line. Remarks are often used to skip a line in the batch file or make comments.
There are two ways of adding comments. The first is to use the REM command. The second is to use ::.
Example:
echo Hello
REM This is a comment
echo Hi
:: This is also a comment
Comments are very important in a HTML code. They are started by <!-- and ended by --!>
"Batch processing" refers to the execution of multiple commands on a computer. Batch jobs are often used to automate a process which needs to be done on many files, since they do not typically need user input once started.
Javascript uses C-style comments, for block comments (multiline) use: /* comments go anywhere in here */ for short one line comments use double-slash: // this is also a comment
Batch processing generally means using a scripting language to queue one or more jobs that will work one after the other without any manual intervention. That is, the actual processing is automated, the only input required from the user is in order to set up the batch. Contrast with online or interactive data processing which requires user-input throughout the process. In batch processing, the input is typically generated from input files collated as a batch, and the output of one job can often be used as input for the next job, dependant upon the type of processing. Some software includes batch processing modes of their own, but for those that don't, command sequences can be crafted using scripting languages, either from within the program itself (where supported) or externally at operating system level. Operating system command scripts can also be employed for batch processing, hence they are also known as batch files.
Subroutines are code blocks that can be called from anywhere in your code where the subroutine is within the scope of the caller. They are not used in batch files or command scripts, but they may be emulated by calling one batch file from another and waiting for the external call to return, which may (optionally) return an error level which can be tested by the caller. Subroutines can be used in other scripts, including vbscript and javascript. Subroutines may also be called functions or procedures depending on the type of script.
A batch converter is a tool that converts several files simultaneously to one format. These can be files or any data.
Batch files are text files containing a series of commands to execute set of commands or run programs in a sequence. Batch files are like a script which, instead of entering and running individual commands are useful in saving time and executing programs even when computer user is not present. Batch files are useful for repetitive tasks (you do not need to enter all the commands every time you repeat the task). MS-DOS and Windows batch files end with .bat extension.
batch files are used to run a series of commands at once. people who work on computers daily and have a series of files or programs to start and command to run often create a batch file to do it automatically and save time.

More or less.

You'll need to use the copy command and copy files you want to add in startup into the statup folder via the batch file, but you need to list the file(s) you want to copy and map the location of the startup folder depending on your computer type.
Dos files are the files with the extension .bat which are used for programming in DOS. This is also called as batch file programming.

Wiki Books has information about batch scripts and examples. Network Automation has downloads to help with batch scripts. There are sample batch script files at Rovander Woude that would be helpful.
Create a command script (or batch file) with the following commands: @echo off copy *.* <folder> Replace <folder> with the desired folder (may be relative to the current folder, or an explicit, fully-qualified folder). Note that the batch file will also be copied. You may alter the wildcard in order to limit which files you wish to copy, or use a series of copy commands to copy individual files, including wildcards where required.
