Take it to the dealer or a shop that has the proper equipment to do this properly. You don't have the correct tools. I have taken my 2002 Montero Sport to the dealer 3 times to have the headlights adjusted to no avail. What kind of tools are necessary to adjust a headlight? Shouldn't it be a screw driver? I can get closer to the specs than Pete Moore Imports in Pensacola, FL. Ok if the dealer is no help then here is the best you can do without professional equipment. You'll need a screwdriver and a wall or garage door to adjust the headlights. Start by parking on a level surface in front of the garage door or wall; turn on the headlights and look at the door or wall to see whether they are aligned properly. Using the large screw near the headlight, adjust the level and position of the headlight up, down or side to side. Tighten or loosen the screw to get the beam pointed in the right direction. Some newer cars have a level that makes this process simple. Be sure to get the bubble in the level in position by turning the screw.
