There is no adjustment on 1984 thru 1989 carrera. There are 2 brake light switches which are wired in parallel and are located on the brake master cylinder.
Yes, it came with 2 sets of brakes. One is for normal driving and the other is for emergencies.
probably a short between the dash and brake switch. it may just be a loose connection. hope it helps. duboff
probably a wiring short... half the 1988-1991 Toyota corollas still on the road seem to do that.
If it is throtle body equipped, the idle control s solonoid controls it. If it has a carb there is an adjustment screw on the bottom of the carb.
