Rotate engine to top dead center on compression stroke then turn can counter clockwise to releave tension on belt to remove auto tensioner after that align all four cams to the respective marks use a vise grips to hold came together to keep from moving then wrap belt around auto tensioner then around came with less play as possible then around water pump and around came and down to tensioner where the slack should be take auto tensioner put it in a vise and turn till pin is all the way in then take a small screw driver the one you use to tighten the screws on your eye glasses and insert it in the hole after that loosen the bolt on the tensioner when and pry it against the belt using a pry bar or otc tool 7667 the spec's call for 40 pounds of torque then insert auto tensioner make sure the seat of the tensioner wheel sits on top of the auto tensioner then tighten then release pin turn engine 2 rotations checks alignments on came this is very very very important can engine damage will happen if this step is wrong or you will have a lot of engine vibration if teeth are off not to mention a lot of work to do it over other then that that's it I hope that helped.
