if you want to spear the fish and you cant its because your aiming to high you need to aim lower because the water makes the fiosh look like its up higher and you should aim were n the water it looks like the end of its stomach is!!
Refraction is the phenomenon which allows light to pass from one medium into the other. But opaque object will not allow light to pass through. So refraction becomes impossible in case of opaque objects.
refraction. Refraction occurs because light travels at different speeds in different mediums, causing it to bend as it transitions between them. This bending of light is crucial to understand when trying to spear a fish in water, as it can make objects appear in a different position than they actually are.
It doesn't help at all. It makes it more difficult, because if you're out in the air, then underwater objects are not in the direction they appear to be. You must make a correction before you loose your spear, and aim it at a place where the fish appears not to be.
Refraction occurs when light passes between materials of different optical densities, causing a change in its speed and direction. The change in speed must be coupled with a change in direction to enable refraction to occur.
No, opaque objects do not refract light. Refraction occurs when light passes through a medium with different optical properties, causing it to change direction. Opaque objects do not allow light to pass through them, so there is no refraction.
Isn't it because the light doesn't reflect back into your eyes, but from another direction so you can clearly see the fish?(:
Spear fishing is done with a spear & regular is done with a rod/reel w/ fishing line & you catch the fish on a hook with bait.
Because he was fishing with his fishing spear
It looks like you're asking about spear fishing (the sport), not spear phishing (the cyber attack). In spear fishing (the sport), the common equipment includes: Spear gun or pole spear – to catch fish Wetsuit – for thermal protection Mask and snorkel – for underwater visibility and breathing Fins – for efficient swimming Weight belt – to help with buoyancy control Dive knife – for safety and utility Gloves and booties – for protection
A good fisher would not throw his spear at a fish because they have a chance of 1. Losing the fish and the spear when throwing the spear, 2. Good fisherman wait until they have the best chance to hit the fish, and 3. A good fisherman would never throw their spear unless if they could not hit the fish with the spear in their hands.
a harpoon
They would have probably gone spear fishing, either with a spear or a branch which they would have sharpened with a knife.

Harpoon or just spear A Harpoon. here in Missouri we call them gigs. this is freshwater fishing tho. we also don't call it fishing when using a gig, we call it gigging, or going gigging as apposed to fishing or going fishing. also works great on frogs.
