There are some advanced settings that you can change to force your online profile to not connect to live. Dig around in the parental options, or you can simply unplug your lan cord, or wi-fi adapter.
Xbox one: apps > friends > profile > appear offline
Xbox 360: home button > preferences > appear offline
Go to the Xbox dashboard (middle button NOT starting dashboard) then go to notifications or preferences (i forgot) then go to online status and put it on offline.
click the xbox button on your controller and then go right twice then go then click on preferances and then click on appear offline
go to settings on xbox and then profile and switch the thing from online to offline.
Yep, just pull out the ethernet cable (or wireless adaptor if you have it) out of your xbox and a message will pop up saying: "Disconnected from Xbox Live". If you're just trying to get away from your friends, you can remain on Live, but appear offline. You can do this by pushing the Xbox Guide button, then moving across to the furthest tab on the right. Then select Preferences from there, then "Xbox Live Status". Select the option "Appear Offline" and hey presto! Your annoying friends will think you are gone, when actually you're still racking up kills on MW2!! :)
no
If you mean by does Xbox live ever go offline. The answer is yes, if there is work which needs to be done, it may go down for a few hours. This is not common.
You cannot appear offline to one person unless you block them. You can only appear offline to every contact on your Windows Live Messenger, by simply clicking on your name than click on Appear Offline
You have to wait until your Xbox Live Gold Membership time has expired and then take the details off offline.
Xbox live will be banned but all offline features will work normally but it will have an effect your xbox 360 may crash in the middle of games it did it on me
No. The kinect is offline and online play.
You just need to go onto the same console you earned them on and then sign into live and it should automatically appear!
I'm not sure of the question but it does NOT require live and members of a Xbox can use offline game play if that's what you're asking.
No, Achievements can be earned online or offline. If you join xbox live with the same account, the achievements get transferred to the online account.
