To get a female waiter's attention, call Mademoiselle!(pronounced ma-duh-mwa-sell)

Place your knife and fork together on the plate as an indication that you are finished. If that doesn't get the waiter's attention, fold your napkin and place it either to the side, or if you're getting a little impatient, ON TOP of the plate.
