The Gym Leader, Jasmine, is first found at the top of the lighthouse in Olivine. The Ampharos is sick so you have to get medicine from the pharmacy in Cianwood, which is a short surf west of Olivine City. You might as well fight the gym there, get the medicine from one of the buildings (there should be a sign out front that tells you its the pharmacy) go back (you get fly here, I believe, so you can use that) to the Lighthouse, find Jasmine again at the top, and talk to her. She will return to the gym, and you can fight her.

∙ 14y agoIf you have a strong water, grass, or fighting type use it. If you have a thyplosion or the evolution if cybdaquil teach it a fighting type move.

∙ 12y agofire type Pokemon are effective against bug types-so are flying types so try get cyndaquil as your first Pokemon or just catch pidgey or spearow.
