The game is open ended, there IS no ending as such. There IS a milestone of sorts if you get to the center, but unless you wipe out all 2400 Grox systems or whatever, there's no end.
The "objective" is to reach the center of the universe in Space stage where "great questions will be answered."
I would shoot for getting all the achievements, including the ally with the Grox and destroy the Grox achievements. You could also try to collect all the rares. Spore is kind of like The Sims, since you can keep going indefinitely. Personally, I stopped playing after I got to the Galactic Core and after I found the "third rock from Sol" [Earth].
you cannot ally with the grox(actually you can ally with the grox I've done it you need planet busters diplomacys fireworks superhappyray and other nice stuff use all that and do alot of missions but donot destroy one of their spaceship or every chance will be lost although if you ally with the grox all civilizations you meet will automattically go to -200 so i don't think it's worth it.)
If you choose to be "Friendly" in the Tribe stage, you will get the Gracious Greeting Consequence Ability for space. That combined with complete avoidance of the Grox until you choose a first approach will give you a slim (as opposed to zero) chance of a successful alliance.
The easy answer is, No.
Ok I'm gonna break it down here. Officially no, however many consider the game to be won when(if) you defeat or ally with the Grox. After you manage this though, the game just continues to let you do whatever you really want so the game never truly ends.
In cel stage, buy some weapons or jaws and bump into your target with a weapon of choice. in creature stage, select someone to attack, then press 1, 2, 3 or 4 or select the in screen buttons to bite, storm, hit or shoot. in tribal stage, select agrassive mode and click on any creature or tribe. in civils stage, get a military or religious city and purchase a unit and select something hostil to engage. in space stage, select the weapons tab, select a weapon and fire on a target. easy!
There are basically 2 ways to finish tribal stage: social and aggressive.
Social way is pretty easy. Just give a gift to an enemy tribe(orange or red face) to make them not to attack your tribe, then play music to them. That will make alliance with the other tribe. Also, the consequence ability for social tribe is +10 relationship bonus in space stage, so you want to do this if you are going to ally with the Grox.
Aggressive way is harder than social way. First, you'll want to finish creature stage as a predator, or with good attack abilities. Then, destroy other tribes. To prevent other tribes from attacking your village while you are away, give gift once.
You can do both at the same time to have industrial trait.
You have two options ally with them which is possible but every alien you have met will start a war with you or just get a lot of planet busters and blow up ever Grox planet individual
*Answer*
What I did is use tools to help their planet's terrascore. Since they hate good weather, all of the Grox on the planet will die(Except for the ones in ships, of course). Completely destroying the Grox means taking out their entire empire....which is the largest empire in the galaxy....It will take a loooong while. You can use a planet buster, though. If you don't, you can try this. The Grox have 5000 planets though...2400 star systems...
all you need to do is at creature beach give a long beak a pearl and then pose with the same one and he'll tell you that shoomshrish or somthing has the feather thing then give the feather to the gaurdian and fight zarkhator and go in the creature beat zarkhator in a race put the brain in the gaurdian he'll give you the spore-o-mega then put it on your creature then fight zarkhator again destroy the red meteors and devolve him
To begin with, build fast units(you can change your unit design later on) to take over all spice geysers. That gives you income boosts. Then change your unit design into balanced, or tough ones.
Then use your units to attack, trade, or convert other cities.
This affects your consequence trait.
Do not use gadget bomb, unless you want to go with all cities at once. It is a nuclear weapon and breaks the code.
Well, you can't really BEAT spore. However, the main goal is to get to the center of the galaxy. And destroying the Grox Empire. Hope I helped!
You can't exactly beat it. You can get all the badges, but that only fills up all of the progress bar at the bottom of the screen. You can't evolve past Space stage, in other words.
Play music for or attack other tribes
beat the arena champion, rocky, in King of the Planet
Spore Hero is better than Spore Hero Arena. From prior experience, Spore hero was a bit childish, but still very cool. Also from prior experience, Spore Hero Arena is very glitchy and has few interesting combinations.
Play Spore Hero Wii and go to the cave in the second level.
No but in spore hero arena you can ;)

In my opinion, Spore Hero Arena. Spore Creatures is pretty much 2-D and it's kind of boring. I think Spore Hero Arena might be more epic and 3-D.
