∙ 13y agoWell many kibbutz's in Israel are closed societies and accept members quite rarely, however in several, such as kibbutz ketura who still practice absorption, you need to be voted in by the entire community first and they may discuss your acceptance for a few months to a few years. Also, you will need to decide whether you want to become a member of a privatized kibbutz or a socialist one.
