A new gemstone dragon is released each month and the old one leaves. The only gemstone dragon available for breeding right now is the emerald dragon. You have to breed a lichen and crystal dragon to get an emerald dragon, but since they are really rare it may take a few tries. Also, a gemstone dragon requires a gemstone island, so you should probably purchase that too.

∙ 9y agoThe birthstone and gemstone dragons start becoming available at level 12. The most common way to breed them is a crystal dragon plus whatever dragon is close to the color of the birthstone that is valid that month. For instance, you will be able to breed peridot dragons in August. They are a yellow green color. A common way of breeding peridot dragons is crystal + cactus.
