The easiest way to bypass the theft deterrent module is to remove the fuse. The location of the fuse can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.

Anti-theft module, 1985 Corvette. Under dash on passenger side next to the heater control valve.
it disables the starter and the fuel injectors
It is part of the vehicles ECM, which can be found under the hood. It is located on the passengers side all the way in the front right corner. There is a black plastic cover over it.
I is behind and below the right side dash insulateing pannel. according to the book, where ever that is. no really you can find the theft module behind and above the glove box. you need to remove the glove box (three bolts alng the bottom of it) and then look above where it was behind the dash.
It's on the passenger side, above the kick plate.
The theft deterrent system is built into the Body Control Module. There are sensors and switches that affect the BCM throughout your car so you need to be more specific as to what you're looking for.
You can not bypass the theft deterrent on your Cadillac. This is a pass lock system in which the key is coded directly to the cylinder. If the theft deterrent has be intiated on your vehicle the best bet is to if you have the key is to disconnect the battery for atleast 10 minutes so the BCM resets and then reconnect the battery and use your key. The vehicle should start. If the ignition has been busted either replace the ignition or get a steering column with a key from a junkyard. Or you can wire the theft deterrent to ground and cause a resistance which might work. You can not bypass the theft deterrent on your Cadillac.
