The Stableford competition is a popular Golf game played in the UK with different rules than traditional golf. Even though two players can end up with the same score at the end of 18 holes, there are many penalties that can be given for various holes and number of strokes, that can change the outcome.

Yes as long as one competion is not matchplay this is not allowed. You would have to finish all holes if one comp was stableford and one stroke.

Lowest score (either nett or gross), then if players are tied, better last 9, better last 6, better last 3, then 2 and 1. Whether the competition is nett or gross that is how the winner is decided in the better finish rule.

If you are playing a stableford competition you would just wait for your group to finish the hole and then go to the next tee. However, if you are playing a stroke competition you must return to the tee, unless you have already played a provisional from the tee. If you didn't play a provisional and do not go back to the tee you shall have an NR non returned score.
