You cannot carry more then one Primary gun at a time. So you can throw a gun down by pressing G and pick up another one you see that you might like.
Exceptions to this are the double hand pistols, available on the Terrorist side.
Also, there is a AMX X mod, called Superhero Mod, on which Double M3 (shotguns) and double Mp5Navy's are enabled.
