It depends on how many stitches you have to cast off. Check your pattern as to how many stitches to cast off. Once you know, knit two stitches, and then take the stitch farthest from the end of your needle, and pull it over the second stitch. You will now have one stitch. Knit another stitch, and cast off the stitch farthest from the end of your needle. Repeat until you have cast off a sufficient amount of stitches. Casting off is the way to finish a project. It is done quite simply- you knit two stitches, then bring the first stitch up the needle and over the second. You then knit a third stitch, and repeat. Eventually you are left with one stitch left. You can then cut the yarn, leaving a tail, and bring it through the loop, and tie a knot. Voila! Your project is complete!
There is no wat to instruct you in script. I would suggest either a web site with pictures, or a trip to the library. You know, the big building with LOTS of books.

Using a pair of double pointed needles, cast on 4 stitches. Instead of turning and knitting back the other direction, slide all four stitches to other opposite end of the needle and knit into the first stitch that you cast on. Knit the rest of the stitches on the needle. Slide them down to the opposite end and repeat. You are knitting in the round on a very small scale. Bind off as you would in the round. It could be used in a couple of contexts. If a garment has negative ease or is poorly fitted, it could be binding (restrictive or tight) as you try to move in it. There are a number of ways to bind off (also sometimes called "casting off").

After you cast on your needed stitches k1, p1, for two rows. After the first 2 rows continue in your pattern stitch. This eliminates the curl. Then continue knitting your pattern. If the project is already finished ,try to pickup the bottom stitches and k1p1 for 2 rows, bind off, this would fix problem. Lynn

you must do what is known as a bind off or cast off ( same thing) you start by knitting the first two stitches as you have been knitting .. then using your left needle insert it into the first stitch you just knitted and pass it over the second stitch you just knitted .. you should have just one stitch again on the right needle .. now knit the next stitch and once again using the left needle pass the one stitch over the other .. continue one at a time knitting one stitch .. passing over.. knitting one stitch passing over till all but one stitch remains.. place yarn over the needle and pull thru remaining stitch .. pull to tighten ..
K2 is simply knitting for two separate stitches. this is different from K2tog which means knit two together, where you treat the next two stitches as though they are one.
You can make dropped stitches, which are super simple if you know how to do yarn overs.
