How do you catch a fast lizard?

I've caught a few, and my trick is this:

Watch them for a few days, see when they bask. When basking, they are taking in heat to help speed up their metabolism, so when they start, they are slower. I come up from behind them and cup my hands over them. That usually does the trick. Better yet, Thiefhunter says, is to make a simple lizard catcher. take a shoe box wrap it with tape then place some cricket or worm then place it at the place u see lizard when the lizard bite on the cricket or worm the shoe box will close .

you could try putting some food they like around the house. and look around warm places like vents, or heaters.

Well I've caught all kinds of animals by I usually catch lizards and I guide them into a crack and make sure their tails stick out and then put my finger on their tail and take my other hand and pinch their tail and pull them back
