I've caught a few, and my trick is this:
Watch them for a few days, see when they bask. When basking, they are taking in heat to help speed up their metabolism, so when they start, they are slower. I come up from behind them and cup my hands over them. That usually does the trick. Better yet, Thiefhunter says, is to make a simple lizard catcher. See how here: http://bobarno.com/thiefhunters/2009/05/lizard-catching/
fast enough to run on water without sinking.
easy.when she gets pregnant she won't eat much food as much as she used too.so when you catch or buy bugs for her you should not get as many.and when female lizards are pregnant they only eat injured bugs because of her pragnacey she can't catch fast bugs or it will not only hurt her her larvas will die.so she needs less bugs and the bugs have to be alive, but still have to be injured so she can catch them easier.
he cant because he is NOT JESUS OR GOD so my answer
It is a surviving technique; so the lizard can redirect the attention of its enemy to the tail that if moving constantly which will give the lizard an opportunity to get away. The tail will regrow over a period of time.

No. The thorny devil, a spiky lizard of the Australian desert, is not a fast runner. It has a very slow, awkward gait.
