When mine went out the dealer replaced it...evidently it was included in the warranty...you can also call a GM dealer and talk to the part or garage and they can tell you how to do it..it should also be in the owners manual. To replace the foglight, remove the headlight by pulling on two tabs straight up. Then wiggle the headlight towards the front of the car. Directly below the where the headlight was is the foglight. Twist about a 1/4 turn and pull directly out. Be careful not to touch the new bulb.
HOW TO FIX A PARKING LIGHT ON A 1996 TOYOTA COROLLA
The following is how I change my blub on my 2002 Z24 Chevy Cavalier Coupe. FYI: Have a good amount of time to complete this!. First you will have to get down and dirty and get under your Cavalier (I didn't raise my car up...this may have helped, maybe). Second the foglights on my Cavalier had a two point screw system holding them to the frame of the car. We will need to remove these to get the foglight out, and then change the bulb. There are two screws in total (10mm on my car) one screw is either in the upper corner and then one on the opposite lower corner or...to help you picture this think of were the foglight attachs to the frame as a square. My car had very, very little hand room to remove this screws and I spent about 95% of my 2 hours removing and re-attaching these screws. After getting these two screws of each foglight just wiggle the foglight out from the front of your car. Next just simply rotate the bulb attachment counterclo.ckwise...if i remember correctly. Take the old bulb out and put your new bulb in and rotate clockwise to lock back in. Re-insert the foglight back into the body of the car making sure that both screws go back into the holes. Re-attact each screw on the back of the foglight under your car. Repeat this on the other foglight...NOW YOUR DONE! This will take some time...at least it did for me, maybe because it was raining. TIP: If its raining move to your garage or just wait for a nicer day ha. Hey.... I just changed out both bulbs on my '02 Z24 and it took me about 5 minutes. Here's what you do - Lay down in front of the car and reach in behind the foglight assembly. Turn the connector about a 1.4 turn counter-clockwise and the bulb and connector will come right out. Remove the bulb from the connector (you're going to have to stick your head onder the car to see what you're doing). Plug a new bulb in and reinsert the whole deal back into the assembly. I'f you're having trouble aligning the bulb right turn on your lights and you'll be able to see where the tabs align by looking though the lens.
To change the check engine light bulb on a 1996 Crown Victoria you need to remove the molding from around the instrument panel. Next, remove the headlight knob and shafts. Locate the light bulb and turn counterclockwise to remove. Reverse directions to replace with a new bulb.
reach up under front bumper and twist the bulb out.
the head lamp has a removable bulb that twists out like a regular house bulb
The head light bulb casing un-screws, like a half turn then just pops out. The bulb is inside that casing.
Remove battery, remove horn, remove wire, twist bulb counter-clockwise to remove.
you have to take out the entier head light asambly
front or rear turn signals
The lens is made of hard plastic. Just squueze it enough to pop it loose and remove it. Change the bulb and snap the lens back in place.
Locate the hole in the bottom of the bumper that is situated in line with the inside corner of the foglight. You'll need a 10mm socket and an extension for your socket wrench (I actually ended up using 2-3" extensions). Unscrew the bolt inside and remove the bolt. Use a flat head screwdriver to help pry the fog light housing out of bumper. Easiest to wedge the screwdriver between the inside edge of the foglight and the bumper (i.e. the side away from the tires). Also, wedge your hand through the air dam and help push the foglight housing out. It should pop out fairly easily. Undo the connector to the bulb, unscrew the bulb from the housing (just a small turn), and reverse the process to put in the new bulb. Hope that helps.
