My 2002 chevy impala security lock but i can jumpstart it and it start but after a few hours it dose it again how can i fix it
Anti-lock Break System
It's mounted on the Trunk Lid Latch.....
I purchased a used 1999 Chevy Malibu and had to replace the glove box because the latch was broken. I purchased another a the local salvage yard and I want to know how to take the lock out of the old door and install it in the new one.
after the glove box is open there is a nut that holds the tumbler in place just un screw it drive safe
I have a 1997 Chevy Blazer 4DR and the relay is located underneath the glove box.
No there is not and the dealer definitely will not do it.
The Chevy Impala LTZ's standard features include the On Star remote ignition block, anti-lock out, anti-theft alarm and pass key, tracking notification and child safety door locks to name a few.
lock has to either opened with a key or picked to open position, then as turning clockwise to lock push up on the back side locking bar and then remove, continue tuning cw to remove lock cylinder. Unbolt the large lock nut and washer on the cylinder case to remove from glove compartment itself. Assemble in reverse order.
Look on the inside of your drivers side door, there should be a latch which you can disable. Lis@
I don't know the answer but any glove box lock is a joke. I would just replace it but never lock it.
if there is not a key hole you cannot lock it.
