there is a bolt off to the right off the sensor take it out and it should just pull right out.
If the crank sensor is not working, the engine will not run.
on the 1998 the camshaft sensor is in the distributor ,you have to change it....you have to change the whole distributor..the sensor is integrated. the crankshaft sensor is located on the block under the cruise control actuator
Crank and cam sensors, yes. Vehicle speed sensor, no.
crank shaft posetion sensor
12 valve engine: front above the crank pulley 24 valve engine: behind the starter.
On the 4 cylinders it is in the rear of the block. On the 6 cylinder it is in the top of the bell housing.
Top of the bell housing, pass side, behind the cylinder head.
the crank sensor is located just behind the crank shaft pully of the engine.
The crank sensor is not in the distributor, it is in the top of the bell housing. The cam position sensor is in the distributor and is not available separately
No
It`s on the flywheel or it`s between the motor and trans and it`s on the passinger side I hope this helps
A crank shaft position sensor on a 1998 Honda Accord reads whether or not a the engine is spinning correctly. If there is a discrepancy on how the crankshaft is spinning the sensor will relay it to the ECU.
