If your truck has a 4.6 or 5.4 liter V-8 engine, then the spark plugs are under the "coil on plug" ignition coils, one for each cylinder. They are located on the intake manifold/cylinder head on top of the engine. You will need a 7mm 1/4" drive socket with an extension and a universal joint to remove the ignition coil first, then use a 5/8" spark plug socket with a universal joint and a 3" extension bar to remove the plugs. Try to twist, then pull the ignition coil/boot off the plug after removing the retaining bolt.
