I just had my freeze plugs replaced on a 1995 180i Corolla (7A-FE engine). Two of them were slowly leaking. It's quite a big job on this engine, as the whole fuel rail and intake manifold has to be removed to get at them.

Finally, install new freeze plugs by tapping them in place evenly, reassemble any removed components, and refill the coolant.
