I don't know how to do it myself, but have a look on www.autozone.com

They have detailed breakdowns for doing almost anything to any car.

I just had my freeze plugs replaced on a 1995 180i Corolla (7A-FE engine). Two of them were slowly leaking. It's quite a big job on this engine, as the whole fuel rail and intake manifold has to be removed to get at them.
