How do you change the high beam headlight bulb for a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup?

AnswerThe high beam and low beam are on the same light bulb. They are 9007 series bulbs. To change bulb you have to remove the entire headlight assembly. It is accessible from the front of the truck. No need to go underneath the truck or wedge your fingers down inside the fender.

There are 3 bolts that have to be removed and 2 screws. You need a long extension to get to the one bolt that near the outter fender. It is hard to see this bolt. To get the other 2 bolts, I had to flex(press down)the front bumper plastics so I could insert the sockets and get to the bolts. The 2 screws are easy to get to and along the seam between the hood and the lighthousing. These 2 screws simply hold the rubber flap that is along the seam in place.

Once the housing is removed, undo the retaining clip and unscrew the light bulb holder. Reinstall in the opposite manner

Its easier to just open the hood and undo the back side of the bulb all you do is twist it out and replace the bulb the driver side may require you to undo the fuze box which is only 4 bolts much easier than removing the entire headlight assembley.
